Any advice for folks who WANT to sighup a new account with Mastodon with ONLY their (Firefox) browser on Windows?

Any recommendations for this FIRST TIME sighup, a browser or getting a Win app? #askingforafriend (REALLY, not me, Im only Android for 7+ years)

When they go to

https://joinmastodon.org the advice is to get the iOS or Android app. But what if a person only has Windows?

Enter your e-mail address and desired name. An email will be sent to you to verify the account.

Open the e-mail verification link and you should be ready to go. I just did this to sign up on my desktop PC a few minutes ago.
