by "ban" I just mean people will consisouesly not take bets with people that don't pay up when they lose and probably will only wager small amounts with people that have not built up enough good will.

This is a legit good idea. Should incorporate some limit on bet size for people that haven’t gotten enough good-standing points to prevent people from making new npubs just to scam
