It's hard to imagine how sharing in a different kind would scale to different apps.
Let's say, I have follows on Amethyst, on my Blog and on Olas. They are different follows. One sees my kind 1s, the other my kind 20s.
If I want to share the podcast, I might want to share with both. For Amethyst, I need to prepare a short post. For my Blog, I need to write a little longer and provide more content. For Olas, I need to prepare a picture that would say the same thing.
If there is a TikTok-like app, then I need a video of me inviting people to the podcast. Or maybe a way to quickly make a video clip out of the podcast with my Olas picture + the podcast audio.
It's going to be hard for Fountain to offer sharing on all of these different types of media. And the amount of options will grow over time.
Yeah, that definitely does not scale.
I don't think we really see users trying to do that kind of maximization of their possible reach, though, either. When a user listens to a podcast they like, they are generally going to just share it in a kind 1 with a link to the podcast and call it good.
The actual podcast creators might try to share it out in as many event kinds as they can, so that users on various clients focused on other content types will see it, too. I could foresee creators posting long-form notes with the transcripts and a link to the audio, or including a link to the audio podcast in the description of the video version, etc. I don't think Fountain would need to pull those kinds into its feed, which is just meant to be seeing what podcasts your followers have been recommending, though. Just pulling in kind 1 notes with links to podcasts is enough for that context.
