Bolwoningen, designed by Dries Kreijkamp in 1984, stands out as an experimental housing project in the Maaspoort neighborhood of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.

These 50 spherical homes, each 55 m², were part of a government-funded initiative to explore alternative living solutions. Kreijkamp's vision for round, fiberglass structures reflected his belief that curved spaces create a more natural living environment.

Assembled in just one day, the homes are designed for low energy consumption and low maintenance. Despite their futuristic appeal, Bolwoningen remains a one-of-a-kind project, a testament to bold architectural experimentation in the 1980s.
