Ok for real though, bitcoin always has its technical layer(s) and social layer. Introducing drivetrain/BIPs 300/301 introduces different complex factors for both of these realities when we’re still trying to get to any semblance of mainstream adoption.

Whatever happens here, can we also just keep putting an insane amount of time, energy, and resources into layer 1 stuff and layer 2 lightning?!
