If he was running independent, it wouldn’t be an issue.

By running democrat, the narrative will be that he was shafted when none of his stuff lines up with any democrat stances. It’s perpetuation of the culture war.

He’s going to split the republican vote, but he’s dead in the water as far as anyone left of center is concerned.

I listened to it and it was a good speech about the First Amendment and treating each other better. Thanks for sharing it.

Thank you for listening. 🫂

Dead in the water because we have been hood winked into thinking the best two candidates for the job are a guy with dementia who will soon be dead and a narcissistic fker who wants to destroy the country.

It’s not a plot against Kennedy. Unlike the lost GOP, whose platform is simply “Whatever Trump Says,” the Democratic Party still has some core values around facts vs. alternative facts, verifiable truth vs. conspiracy theories and it aspires to a strong multicultural country vs one that benefits only white people, and more. RFK, Jr. reflects none of those core political philosophies and policy planks of the Democratic Party, making him unfit for its nomination. Maybe he could win a different party’s nomination. It’s really very simple.

I agree that there’s no good option. I do not like RFK Jr in the slightest, but I think it’s ridiculous he’s going for the democrat position when he isn’t one.

Agree. I think he’s pursuing the Democratic nomination because his family are Democratic icons. That’s the only reason he gets any attention, because he’s otherwise way out of step with the party. If his last name was not Kennedy, he’d get about as much visibility as fellow Democratic candidate Marianne Williamson gets.

I don’t even know who that is, which just proves your point.

He’s coasting on his namesake, and is promoting almost entirely republican talking points while running as a democrat, when nothing lines up.

He’s not going to get the “Bernie treatment” because at least Bernie was left. This is basically a very sad “wolf in sheep’s clothing” where he transparently doesn’t fit.

He’d have made a genuinely fine republican candidate. Not a democrat one.

She’s a self-help author whose cringe but harmless book marketing strategy seems to be running for president perpetually.

Being a bit “out of step” from the democratic party isn’t such a bad thing at this point. They have abandoned us.

No matter, I appreciate the respectful conversation and respect both of your opinions. Have a good day. 🫂

Me too. I know you’re moving on but wanted to add a thought that he’s also trying to take out an incumbent US President of the same party. That just doesn’t happen.

RFK is a democrat. The party walked away from him. Not the other way around. The dems have abandoned the middle class en masse in favor of joining the republicans in a culture war.

These two parties have absolutely abandoned the people. Being out of step with these corrupt, power seeking organizations is the best way forward.

It’s shameful they have convinced us that THEY (the party) gets to elect the president instead of the people.

Say no to a Trump Biden rematch and choose differently.

RFK is a reasonable choice. Give him a chance and don’t fall for the media one liners.

Your analysis, IMO, is very accurate. But let us change that. He shouldn’t be “dead in the water” to those left of center.

He hold many progressive view points and has championed liberal causes his entire left.

Let’s not let the media paint him as a “conspiracy theorist” and move on without giving us an opportunity to hear him speak.
