I hear that GPU passthrough is difficult or even impossible on Qubes, which is a huge roadblock for my privacy. Is my understanding correct?

I have no idea. All I’ve done is installed it and used it this one time so far.

How is GPU passthrough a privacy risk?

I don't know the whole story for why GPU passthrough is hard to do with Qubes, all I know is that GPU processing is important for my own setup.
