It surprises me to see so many people campaigning here on Nostr and cheering for one party or the other (okay, mostly one). I thought there would be mostly free spirits here?

An American Story:
Choice is free.
The establishment would hand the people horrible candidates that had nothing in common with the people and have them decide between the lesser of two evils. That all changed about 8 years ago with a candidate that spoke like us, acted like us, and wanted what we wanted. We watch him fight the establishment for over 30 years before he became a candidate in 2016. We knew if he was going to fight the Federal Reserve he was going to have to do things in a more discrete way than JFK.
The establishment only gave us an illusion of choice and never expected her to lose.
The majority always will be opportunists, no matter where you look 🙈.
