To deliver more value, it often helps me to ask the following question:

What has the highest customer value to do?

Then I do that.

Most of the time, we all have customers, and we want to make them happy, or help them the most. I think it depends on the job, which has a higher value impact. If we prioritize this in our work, we will have competitive advantage and leverage to negotiate higher salaries.

Also don't fear to ask in the middle of your work, if still has customer value, and don't fear to stop if the answer is no.

Pivoting in the right time is huge power.
