But both have a point, however I think while a ‘business’ is still growing and earning reputability probably the less users pay themselves the better and the more usage will likely grow. Also if you go too far in the direction of making an open protocol social media platform a profitable ‘business’, then surely that’s veering too far off in the direction of current social media, which most on here feel has been wrong

My other comment seemed to disappear…if there’s further growth with a diversity of interests that bring people to nostr maybe then would be a better time to tap into profitability aspects as people will be more likely to be coming back despite additional costs
