I actually found it kinda funny that the poster dot place one was broken and it didn't affect my experience at all so wasn't really that worried. In fact coracle actually forces verification onto my old iris address

You guys are cool and also lack NIP-05 verification - do you want it as you@ok0.org ? If yes, reply with what you'd like it to be (all lowercase) and update your client with it (it's called "Nostr address" in Amethyst for example.

Done! Lol yeah it's largely ignored at the moment, it mostly just looks cool. I guess if Nostr grows and impersonation becomes a real problem at some point, who knows.
