It’s not of course. An occurrence of something does not prove a negative. The Quran teaches it is the responsibility of the Muslim to exact justice on the infidel.

Indoctrination is a hell of a drug.

Go read it. And the Hadithes.

I know exactly what they say. You have to remember that the person who has authority to declare Jihad is a head of State...

That’s asinine. The Quran was not written to “States”. And anybody with a following that is a believer of Islam can call for Jihad among his people. It is not some global authority recognition when Jihad is called for. If a man has a following and calls for Jihad, his following does not stand up and say, “No, no! You can’t because you’re not a state!” You have to remember… that the person who is able to read the Quran has autonomy. Move to Morocco and name your kid David, see what happens.

Fully aware that non nation states are declaring Jihad, of course but these croisades aren’t necessarily recognized by Islam as legitimate. The point I was making was in relation to the caliphate or state and their inherent interest in land/ressources. I suppose we can agree to disagree 🫂

You just got done writing that it is the States that declare Jihad because they have authority? You’re saying two different things.

And to say that the actions of some that declare Jihad aren’t “recognized by Islam” is nonsensical. There is no elected voice to speak on behalf of Islam to say, “We don’t recognize that Jihad!”. That’s why you refer to the teaching of the Prophet Muhammad. And his teachings are that justice is to be exacted on the infidel by the followers of Islam.

There's such a thing as Islamic Law sir

Haha this will be good. And where does Islamic Law come from?

Of course the words of the prophet

And you have now circled back to make my argument.

That’s fine and all… intent of Jihad might be the exact justice on the infidel but I still fail to see how that can be exacted without violating property rights, incursions into lands etc.
