WTF is going on with RAM prices?
12 months ago I paid $250 for 2 x 32GB DDR5. Today, that same RAM is $545.

Gee.. Glad I got mine last year..
Grr. I wish I'd thought of that. The ram I bought a year ago had a defect and I never got around to returning it.
I think it's a mix of things from demand hording and back orders for new data centres for AI cloud and tariffs and supply chain constraints.
Storage too. NVMe, M.2, and SSD drives are more expensive than 6 months ago.
