But I think the clothed woman is actually maximizing her sexual power, by seeking to increase the value of what remains hidden.
I think manipulation by a bluff is much more effective, and has longer-reaching effects.
It isn't showing restraint, it is showing coercion and manipulation. Not making a value judgement on that right now. Maybe clothing is violence.
This backs into my thoughts on ownership earlier - but this would be how women own men. Has been true the whole time. Men have been enslaved to women because of modesty. And what may have been a cruel trick is now getting unwoven in a very unpleasant way, with self-mutilation and identity crisis becoming common.
