Some people who I like and want to follow post so much that I reluctantly unfollow them as they become feed pollution...

When signal becomes noise.
Agree. Some people are still in the Fiat mindset of spamming instead of carefully curating content that is truly worth others’ attention.
Would add them to lists help?
Absolutely lists help with this. I really liked it elsewhere to create small sets of people who I did want to stay up to date with their every move.
The other thing that I'm trying, which could turn into something like a channel, is a separate account for now focused on Bitcoin specifically.
I think it's fine to unfollow. If a note is good someone you do follow will boost it back into your feed.
General following quickly becomes hard to track.
that's the probs with twitter right now, so much fragmentation in bitcoin which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's just scaling with lots of varying interest but too much rhetoric from antima knobs.
Sent you sats cuz why not
I post super frequently I often wonder if this has any bad consequences hahaah then I think ehhh idgaf
I wonder if this isn’t somewhat a byproduct of the “display it as it is posted,” non-algorithmic feeds on Nostr.
I’d rather just drop one or two nuggets of gold a week, but if I post them at the wrong time, no one will see them. Thus even if you desire to be sending signal there’s a tacit incentive to post more since unseen signal isn’t valuable to anyone
