i cought the quotes, and i agree "crypto" has taken on a negative colliquial association with altcoins, but when you said "in fact, the terms cryptocurrency and blockchain" (with red lines slashed through them) aren't even in the whitepaper. it heavily insinuates that bitcoin is not a "cryptocurrency." especially for onboarding friends and family who are typically normies. in my experience the term altcoin serves the same purpose of differentiating btc from shitcoins and does not confuse people the way using the short form of cryptocurrency does. anyway i enjoy your vids. thanks for listening to my 2 sats

and after the red slashes through cryptocurrency and blockchain, you go on to say "btc is often labeled as a "cryptocurrency" but it has little to do with the broader "crypto" industry. this sentence alone insinuates that btc it is not a cryptocurrency.

make sense? it's confusing for normies.

bitcoin is not "labeled as" a cryptocurrency. it is a cryptocurrency
