⚡️🇬🇧 NEW - The Bank of England wants to set a limit on the number of stablecoins a person can hold because of what it calls "systemic risk".

BoE officials said they were planning proposals to impose ownership limits of £10,000 to £20,000 for individuals and £10 million for businesses.

The plan has drawn criticism from crypto industry leaders, who believe the plan is difficult to implement and would hamper the potential benefits of stablecoins.
