Robosats good too

Yeah I’d prefer my name not appear in strangers bank accounts, that’s still a version of KYC. Learn vexl instead, and trade pure p2p in your web of trust

Is Vexl available on F-Droid or does it require the other version of kyc that is traditional app stores?

Available in Aurora store. F-droid in the future. Vexl is social web of trust. It doesn’t touch Bitcoin or fiat. And everything is encrypted client side.

...so only Google Play or the Apple App Store currently. It seems disingenuous to me to spam everyone about trade counterparties having knowledge of each other without acknowledging that you're encouraging people to provide their personal information to Google and Apple in order to onboard in the first place. Not for me thanks.

Would love to actually have a chat with you about it. You can view it however you want but we are trying to build a tool that connects people using web of trust. We aren’t an exchange. Not sure how it’s disingenuous. Our code is free and open source. We are trying to build a tool that anyone can use. We are looking at all options, including Nostr. But a better web of trust then the one you’ve spent your whole life building doesn’t exist. If you wanna chat about it and take the time to try and understand what we are doing I would genuinely like to understand your concerns better.

Indeed Zelle may be considered 0.5 KYC since the banks still get the info that Alice sent Bob $1000, just not necessarily what it’s for. F2F meeting and cash by mail are also available. Hardly any F2F offers on Bisq though. Maybe Vexl is where to go for F2F. 🤷‍♂️
