Holy cow there was a lot of vine weevils in the pot of this yew tree. Not the first time this has happened from this nursery, I forget not everyone is organic and building soil preventing these kind of issues.

Always repot things from nurseries when you get them or surprises can lurk underneath the soil and you can end up with a dead plant with little explaination as to what has happened. Plants like yew can be green for quite a while after the roots are completely compromised and chewed to pieces, so by the time you notice it usually too late.
