"Putting people in prison for age-gap sex is brand new in world history. It has never been done before. Is it really necessary? Doesn't it cause far more harm than good? The burden of proof is on those promoting incarceration here. Not the other way round."

Doesn't if it's true or false. Doesn't matter if it violates the rules or not. It contains ideas questioning the validity of a taboo. The taboo will be honored above all else.

people aren't imprisoned for "age gap sex", they are put in prison for "child rape". 70 year olds can fuck 20 year olds, no problem.

In Illinois two young adults, 16-years-old, who make love can both go to prison for the statutory rape of the other.

Is that mutual child rape in your mind?

Illinois is no exception either. In New York it's the same. Several other states too.
