I am reading this cover to back to figure out how to make 'custom resources' in k8s. Mainly, making my own controllers and being able to automatically act upon updates. For instance, imagine if you could deploy a #strfry relay as a DaemonSet and then equip several DVMs with their own private/public keys injected through either the env or filesystem. When the DVMs load, they auto-connect to the node-local #strfry instance, which in return sncs upstream to a bunch of relays (and back, with a shortened retention) to allow DVMs to focus on functions and processing events rather than faffing around with things like handling connections to other relays and stuff; just leave that to the central local relay and use it as an ingress and egress. And, I would love to have this stuff for eepsites too ;) Would be neat to bring up a webapp, attach an OnionService and an I2PService and a regular Service to handle exposing the same app to all three networks without having to worry about the configuration behind it.
Yep... I certainly dream a lot.
