The mistake of “value-for-value” is assuming that people only do things that are valuable.

People know that what they do most of the time is *not* valuable. So they would correctly conclude that these time wasting activities are worth nothing to them.

What are those things that are made that are not valuable?

My fellow tek… I think users generally find things like social media posting to be unvaluable. If the friction is increased to the point of having to pay for it, I think most would happily go without
