With the blocksize wars, Core rightfully defended #Bitcoin from impatient, shortsighted shitcoiners who thought that L1 could be vertically scaled without risking overcentralization (they were wrong, retarded, and lost).

With the spam wars, Core dismissed users as technically illiterate, not fully appreciating the demand to fend off shitcoiners exploiting valid consensus rules, until finally being forced to take it seriously (only after being threatened with losing control of the development process by the Knots insurrection).

It’s crazy how many people are on Knots just because CASA moved to supporting ethereum.

Actually that’s not crazy at all.

That’s exactly what you’d expect to happen from Bitcoiners that are technical enough to know the how the slippery slope of shitcoin think goes. Shitcoin think is a material enough information event for a non technical Bitcoiner to become technical enough to blindly switch to Knots.

The likelihood of shitcoin think’s slippery slope persisting is high given so many past experiences with it .

The lesson is don’t shitcoin kids. And if you do just sack up and admit it. If you can’t then you can expect well-coordinated and effective philosophical revolts that might not make technical sense.

It’s hilarious how you’re just catching up

Would have been an energy sink to care more than this.
