No, that predates any outside cultural influences from the west, though, some beauty standards have changed over the past century.

Classic Asian writings are filled with women doing wild things to be "beautiful."

Women doing crazy things to be deemed as beautiful has never been a cultural specific behavior.

I agree. Some beauty standards have changed, but I've noticed that more asian women nowadays make rather heavy use of plastic surgery to make themselves look more European. You haven't noticed this? This is huge with alot of Korean women.

The only think they really want to look more Yurpian about is double eyelid. My friend had it done for medical reasons, but, IIRC, it's the most common Asian plastic surgery performed. The rest of the typical. Mods are heavily influenced by classical "daintiness." women should be pretty, not useful. LOL

This is true. Skin bleaching is also quite popular, although more often than not, it's done without the use of surgery.

Yes. White skin, not, ethnically white, but, the color white, is what is desired. To look like a porcelain doll. *shakes head*

No thank you. I love me some freckles, laugh lines, and even crow's feet.

Dude, I saw so many Asian women that fit that porcelain doll description in NYC last week. It's bizarre, man.

Yeah. The amusing thing is that if I see one that looks like that, it's an immediate turn off.

seems like you guys are chatting on the 4chan website.

That probably means we're on the right track. So thanks for noticing.

oh, behave, beaver 🫂. i’m guessing you know better, so…✨💖✨

I might... But I am not always a well behaved beaver.

I'm your huckleberry 😘

this is ~exactly~ like the time i said that every single asian girl becomes a triple black belt by age two. but this time i’ll add “especially korean girls.” 😂😂

it took me until my twenties for that
