When I understood what bitcoin truly is, why it is the way it is and what its potential is, it became clear that it is the most fundamental, wide ranging and impactful innovation of my life. Naturally I oriented myself towards that goal and am blessed to now work on this mission every day.
I got into bitcoin as one way to make money. I stayed in it because I realized with Bitcoin you can stop looking for these ways and simply focus on your craft/doing what you love because it fixes inflation (and so much more)
