Costa Rica travel tip:
If you're going to La Fortuna (Arenal), make sure to stop at the natural and free hot spring. It's a river heated by volcanic activitiy. There are mini waterfalls too.

Right across the street is a very fancy hot spring resort. It's very nice, but pricey.

There may be someone where you park asking for money to park. If you go early they may not be there. So its either free or nearly free. And try not to leave anything important in the car.
