also zoroastrianism predates christianity and catholicism and is the first monotheistic religion. so the architecture is not orthodox since it predates it by many years.

you learn something everyday. I remember reading/listening somewhere that the magi who came from the east were zoroastrians. ill try to find that video by patristix
