If you're lonely that's the fault of cars more than anything else. Cars destroyed communities, rebuilt countries into hells of isolation. "Why are we only lonely now decades later?" Because cars made society ultra-vulnerable to things that caused further isolation.

Hum no. We had cars 50 years ago but communities were still there. The main problem is the search for independence. They made people think that your family was a prison while living in a community that is not your is a prison. Personal relationship grow in a lifetime, not two months.

Yes cars destroyed US communities. Not after they were invented.
