Went to rent a surfboard today. Told the lady I’d pay in Bitcoin—because, you know, nostr:npub14f26g7dddy6dpltc70da3pg4e5w2p4apzzqjuugnsr2ema6e3y6s2xv7lu , Costa Rica, all that good stuff.

Get to checkout, pull out my phone, and ask for her Lightning address. She looks at me, confused.

“You said Bitcoin.”

“Yes… waiting for your address.”

“What address? We only accept physical Bitcoins.”
