I'm torn on it to be honest. I complete get the point that in the current paradigm it has the potential to create major disincentives for people to produce and innovate. That said in the paradigm we seem to be headed to where AI displaces a huge segment of the unskilled labor force, it seems all but necessary to avoid civil unrest.

Right but there must be some other way for people to make a living. Maybe in ways that don't exist yet. Even Nostr is a new way for us to transfer value.

That's fair, but if it's the choice on whether to have a way to survive or not, it's kinda hard to tell people at large to not consider a known (imperfect) option in lieu of unknown yet-to-be created ones, ya know?
