I'm about 15 lbs overweight currently, happens when I get too addicted to work so I just rely on fast food

But now that my my app is about to launch I will drop it all in two months using a proof of steak protocol

Bless you ;)

good stuff. i have a view i've adopted. Fastfood is not an option. If i Have too I ask for 2-6 beef patties w/ no seasoning. ask for salt on the side.

It's faster to grill a steak than to go out to get "fast food."

So... Stop poisoning yourself just for "convenience."

Amen!

And especially true if you enjoy the "rare" side (as you should).

Remember:

"WD" doesn't stand for "well done" - it stands for "wrong decision"

It’s cheaper too. If you get a steak for 2 with a salad at the grocery store the ingredients to make that is cheaper than a Big Mac, fries & a coke for 2.

Healthier, cheaper, it’s real meat, it comes from one cow & is not a thousand cow burger. Everything about it is better for you, your wallet & your life

Yeah. I bought an Angus porterhouse for $15. That's way better than spending $15 at a fast food joint.

Still too expensive.

Find a beef initiative supplier that will ship to you and takes bitcoin.

Buy 1/4 beef if you don't have a big freezer.

Get your beef cost down below 10 USD per pound equiv.

You can get it down to 6-7 USD if you have a freezer and can do larger quantities.

I can't. So I don't. (I live in a travel trailer. I have no room for a freezer.)

Propane fridge?

No, thankfully.

12V compressor fridge with a decent capacity, so, even fitting a shoulder sized chunk in the freezer is not feasible.

My husband shops for ‘discount steak’ whenever he hits the grocery store he looks for the items that have been marked down since they’re still acceptable to sell, but they’re getting close to the day the store will have to pull them off the shelf. Find out what day your local store gets their beef delivered & come the day before. There’s always something on sale.

That's what I do and how I spend less on better steak than the "cheap" stuff.

just please don't follow the cooking instructions!
