This is how you blow through all of your ISP's data package. Hopefully people have unlimited. I had to switch on mobile to unlimited. My home ISP is going to be over 2TB this month.

It isn't... There are some solutions though. 1) Clients cache data 2) Users do not add as many relays to their profiles as I have added to mine. I have way too many. 3) Users only add a relay that mirrors their notes and events to a collection of other relays. There is a working model on this, I believe.
I think that could be an impetus for paid clients, free usage but will unlock data storage by donating or paying sats for the features
