It’s interesting that people seem to interpret a criticism of “likes/reactions” to mean that zaps are expected instead. I assume this assumption comes from the use of the “Onlyzaps” label in Damus settings. They are each standalone forms of engagement. Likes are garbage, and that has nothing to do with whether you want to use zaps or not.
