The propaganda is constructed from partial truth and/or facts that are related but not essential to understanding the details. Platitudes and sacred cows are frequently interwoven. Of course the objective is to mislead, not to educate or enlighten.

Propaganda promotes “the lie” and seeks to motivate either complacency/compliance or action in the best interest of the propagandist among the largest numbers of people possible.
