Why haven't stores all already just switched to phone based pos apps? In the US, I know its because we're too regulated and we've been slow to change, but even in China, where they pay for everything with QR codes, they still have big goofy machines all over the counter of stores.

heh yeah, agreed, it could all be very simple with just an app now, even it can be turned into the entire launcher shell
