Serious Question : If there are so many tens of thousands of people here on Nostr, why does my Nostrgram Global show me the same modest number of people?

Most of use are lurkers who only upvote and zaps ⚡
Relays probably local. I'm guessing I don't really know.
Add more relays to see more posts. I see some users use specific region relay only. Like .Jp .Ch etc
Global is paid relays only. You can change that in settings (just be prepared for the spam). Your Following+ will show a lot more than Global (paid only) generally because it's who you follow plus who they follow.
