Inspired by nostr:npub1lz8xv2dnyryrk4vswkcgf52vqqzruqwuyp53s7pvusx4fef9fh2s7hh86s's story I took initiative and on-boarded a friend to lightning today.
The friend is more of an investor-bro type and only holds Bitcoin and some shite coin via ETFs/papers. So self-custodial Bitcoin seems foreign to him.
Once a week we play tennis and share the court fee which I usually pay him in cash.
But guess what, today he gave in and let me install Phoenix on his phone and I paid him on the LN. And from now on that's how we settle our tennis business.
He was so surprised by the on-boarding process. "What I don't need an account?"
