All it is, is a tunnel for btc to move faster. Lightning can be implemented to other chains. The first chain was Lightning on litecoin sooo in some way its still bitcoin

it works when it does, I've used it before - but i was thinking about it vs the others like say an Algorand which could do the same thing (albeit not side chaining the coin)
