If I have a low priority bitcoin transaction, how long can a transaction sit in the mempool? Totally fine waiting a week or more to send on a fee dip.

I’ve tried looking it up and it seems like it’s capped at 2 weeks but I cannot find a definite source

I’ve also seen it’s more a size thing than a time thing (2nd source) as mempool capped at 300mb

Are there any wallets that allow signature now and a conditional broadcast (eg sign now but only broadcast when fees are at or below X)?

I‘m not aware of any wallet that can broadcast the signed transaction at a later point in time automatically.

Though, you can sign, and then broadcast your transaction later manually using the Sparrow Wallet.
