What if the “paywall” is totally optional? i.e. viewer has a choice: 1) give value to view content 2) view content for free (by just “signing in” with Lightning)

I get that the step is annoying and value can be given in other ways (e.g. just zap a note) but do you think Lightning paywalls have *some* usefulness in certain contexts?
