Do they have any source of abundant natural energy in places like Jackson Mississippi? Those places look worse than areas in third world countries. If they could mine Bitcoin, maybe they could at least cut down the trees growing out of the potholes and build new homes. Apparently, the PIC there are corrupt, though, so money probably isn’t all they need. I guess they could fuel miners with methane from trash. It’s just in big piles in the middle of roads there.
