Interesting.... At 53, I do remember my first real credit card. Actually I think I had a JC Penny card at 19... But got my first visa at 20 when I was in Desert storm, turned 21 over there as well, so I couldn't use it or drink for that matter.

Anyhow, credit is just a tool, a skill saw is a tool, but could be evil if you cut your figures off. No different than credit. We have 800 credit scores, zero automotive or consumer debt but our house

We use credit for monthly transactions for the security and protection over other electronic means.

Learn to use the tool properly or don't use it. Same could be said for firearms right?
