that is your opinion. it seems you are projecting what you think gets people onboard and what deters them. you do you with your posts. all good.

i am not speaking to beginners. i am speaking to those who have already started and are ready to make more secure or larger investments. wos is good for beginners, but custodial wallets (especially closed source ones), like keeping money in exchanges is not good practice.

newbies will have to learn this early on. it's best practices, period.

The gains might be high now as it's being adopted, but one day the number of people and the amount of wealth they are saving in it will reach equilibrium. However, Bitcoin is valuable even if it only preserves your purchasing power. It doesn't rely on losses from other investors, but in the ability to escape inflation, depreciation and some taxes like property tax.
