I’ve felt for a long time like a temporary period of co-option was inevitable on the way from here to there. I hope to be wrong about that though.

From your perspective, how does the co-opt play out? Where’s the vulnerability that could get exposed?

I think we’re likely to see a period of time where digital fiats CBDC’s are issued against bitcoin. There’s nothing that bitcoin can do to prevent sovereigns from issuing their own currencies.

Would love to see the US go #cashumafia

Are you referring to a btc backed cbdc?

Yes

Cbcd’s are a horrible idea, but from the issuers shoes, I can see the value prop. Come use our hard spyware money it’s better than theirs… could this cascade in to others backing their cbdc with btc to compete?

Is this one of the step changes to btc as reserve currency. So many questions…

Money for enemies comes to mind.

3 things that have been on my mind are;

Mining centralization

ISP’s

Apply Pressure on Bitcoin core developers
