From the 1964 book “A Museum of Early American Tools” that I got from my Dad. Coming from a family of professional antiquer’s has given me the privilege of having old treasures like this handed down.
High-quality antiques are some of the few material items I will spend money and physical space on. Tools, art and books of the past inspire awe and creativity in ways that new consumer goods NEVER can or will. They’re also inimitable in the way they were manufactured and their material construction; a glimpse into times that’ll never exist again.

Fuck yeah that’s a great choice. My Dad has a 200 year old hand forged broad axe and it’s one of the most badass implements I’ve ever held.
I’m going for a real samurai sword.
Oooh hope you post when you get samurai sword:)
I love axes, I always preferred them over swords 🪓
