North Sea, Sea Shanty 🌊

Wind from the east came and went

Sunlight shining at the horizon

Waves are calm, yet vigorous

Guide me through this squall, and into the mystic

Every nautical mile is heaven sent

Beauty is terror in this ocean

A crack in the sky, I feel powerless

I accept my fate, but I want give in

Carry me home to my soul sweet wind

Sails be my wings, I’m under your command

Guide me through what lies ahead

Expand my mind with this resistance

I was once a dreamer, but soon I might be dead

Carry me home to my soul sweet wind

Storm clouds form the sky caves in

In between earth and heaven

Waves break, thunder shakes

Save me lord for heavens sake

Keep my sails away from gales

This old ship, she will prevail

Wind, wind my dear old friend

Fly me to my end
