I wish there was a way to thank anyone who zapped . Commenting a 'thanks for the zap' on an existing thread feels kinda off as it has a diff context and conversation. And it feels rude not saying thank you.

I think we will start to see zaps (at least with comments with them) appear as notes themselves, so a reply could be used, or a 1 sat return reaction could be used to say I saw that.

I love the sentiment. It's like saying thank you for saying thank you. It's great to have the ability to show gratitude better. There shouldn't be a limit to gratitude. How gratitude is expressed should be a freedom. But that also means it should be a freedom both ways, how it is expressed and when it is expressed.
That is true too! Sometimes I zap back the amount and it’s kinda rude cause it looks like I’m returning it. And where I come from, you always give back more than you receive. I leave comments on zaps but there is that wallet incompatibility issue I think where not all comments can be read. I used to see the comments on zaplife.lol but I don’t see it anymore either. The conflict of zap mannerism lol!
