Subscriptions are going to be tricky if they can't be done automatically. Mental transaction cost is too high.

In mutiny we have subscriptions based on nwc
I like you guys model. Not perfect but easy to understand as a user.
Good solution for now is to make the subscription 1 year instead of 1 month.
$20 for a year sounds good
NWC can fix this as well. Paid Relay operators just need to allow paying using a NWC string, then User can setup a NWC for this subscription (with a monthly spending limit of whatever the subscription costs)
