I thought I was an old fart by running my own servers and never jumping on the "cloud" (AWS and such). Mainly I was lazy to learn it and I already knew how to take care of Linux servers. I am only slowly getting used to docker for specific use-cases.
Seems that it's also a cheaper choice.
