It feels like DOGE is God and the Federal Government is Sodom and Gomorrah. This is how that story ended:

DOGE is more like the Israelites marching around Jericho. The walls will fall, but the Israelites will get their fair share of judgement, too, via Babylon.
I like your analogy better. It is easy to identify with the wrong character when reading the Bible.

Yeah. I hear you. I like marching around the walls of Jericho in the safety of numbers, but the idea of going up against the giant alone is terrifying.
